How It Works

What We Bring

A person wearing a striped shirt is writing in a notebook surrounded by books, a cup, a spoon, and other items on a table.

Family Recruitment: 10-50 participants (youth ages 5-13 with parents) who pay to learn

Facilitation: Trained facilitators and staff who guide pre-reflection, the experience, and post-reflection

All Logistics: Materials, liability insurance, registration, scheduling, communication, supplies

Payment: A flat fee to support co-creation and coordination, plus additional fees per community member. You decide whether those per-person fees go to your organization or as thank you gifts to community members.

What You Provide

Community Members

Four young women with long hair standing in a green field during daytime, making heart shapes with their hands toward the sky.

5-25 willing community members who want to share their knowledge, skills, culture, or experiences—and engage in reciprocal learning with visiting families

Coordination

Crowd at concert or music event with hands raised and forming hearts, stage lights in background.

At least 1 staff member to work with our team

Space

Children wearing waterproof boots and jackets, standing in a muddy outdoor area.

Meeting space for 1-2 hours (can be at your site or community locations)

Experience Types

We co-create every experience with you, tailored to your community's strengths, interests, and what they want to share.

Examples we've designed with partners:

  • Shared meals where communities and families share stories and wisdom over food

  • Creative collaboration where community members and families create alongside each other through art or craft projects

  • Cultural exchange where communities share traditions and heritage while learning about visiting families' experiences

Your experience will be unique to your community. We work together to design something authentic.
