About Us
Our Vision
Building connection through proximity.
We believe that authentic relationships across different backgrounds and experiences are essential for a thriving society.
KinCorps creates structured opportunities for families and organizations to build those relationships—not through observation or charity, but through genuine exchange where everyone's humanity is centered.
Our Values
Reciprocity
Everyone brings value. Everyone learns. Everyone teaches. Genuine exchange, not charity.
Dignity
Everyone is valued for their full humanity and positioned as experts with wisdom to share.
Authenticity
Real relationships require presence, vulnerability, and genuine curiosity.
Proximity
True understanding requires proximity. You have to get close.
Our Team
Sarah Fanslau, Founder & CEO
Sarah brings 15+ years of experience in youth development, program evaluation, and community connection. She previously served as VP of Youth Programs at Multiplying Good and Points of Light, engaging thousands of young people in civic action while generating over $5 million in strategic partnerships. Her early work at Health Leads—connecting hospital patients to community resources—revealed the transformative power of proximity: when people engage with those in their own communities, meaningful relationships form and belonging deepens. Originally from downeast Maine, Sarah returned home after a decade in NYC and international experience. Her expertise in impact measurement, program design, experience design, and building authentic community connections—combined with advanced degrees from LSE (Social Policy) and Claremont Graduate University (Evaluation & Applied Research)—uniquely positions her to build KinCorps' vision of creating communities where people who are different regularly interact with each other, creating connection and belongingness.
